Two ways to the same lawn
Hydroseeding sprays a mix of seed and mulch onto prepared ground, and the lawn grows from there. Ready lawn is turf grown elsewhere, cut and laid in rolls.
Seed or turf · Auckland
Both give you a lawn. Ready lawn is an instant surface; hydroseeding grows it from seed in the mix you choose. We quote both for the same area, so you can compare.

Hydroseeding sprays a mix of seed and mulch onto prepared ground, and the lawn grows from there. Ready lawn is turf grown elsewhere, cut and laid in rolls.
A shady corner, a back lawn for kids and a dog, or a tidy front lawn each want a different grass. With seed, the mix is chosen for your site.
Either way, the ground comes first: weeds and old lawn out, the levels graded, topsoil in. We do that part too.
Tell us the area, the ground, the shade and how soon you need it. We quote hydroseeding and ready lawn side by side.

Got another question? Call us and we’ll talk your lawn through.
Yes. We quote both for the same lawn. Ready lawn gives you an instant surface; hydroseeding grows your lawn from seed in the mix you choose. Ask for both and compare.
Tell us about the sun and shade, who uses the lawn (kids, dogs, sport), how much you can water and when you need it. We recommend the mix for your site: a rye and fescue blend, tall fescue or kikuyu, matched to the job and the season.
Both. We clear weeds and old lawn, grade the levels and bring in topsoil, then hydroseed. Tell us what’s already done and the quote shows the preparation and the seeding as separate lines.
Autumn and spring are the classic sowing windows, with warm, moist soil. Kikuyu wants warm soil, so it goes in from late spring into summer. We book the day around the weather.
